Grade 10 Students Complete the MYP and Look Ahead to DP

Grade 10 students celebrated the completion of the Middle Years Programme before beginning the next stage of their IB education.

IST’s Grade 10 students received certificates marking the completion of the IB Middle Years Programme during a ceremony held before the school’s end-of-year celebration.

Reaching this milestone reflects several years of academic and personal development. Throughout the MYP, students have worked across a broad range of subjects, explored connections between learning and real-world contexts, and strengthened skills such as research, communication, collaboration and self-management.

Their Personal Projects provided a final opportunity to bring many of these skills together through an extended, independently managed piece of work. Completing the programme is therefore not only an academic achievement, but also evidence of growing resilience, responsibility and confidence.

The move into the Diploma Programme will bring new expectations and greater specialisation. Students will be asked to engage deeply with their chosen subjects, balance different commitments and continue developing as thoughtful, independent learners.

Congratulations to all our Grade 10 students on completing the MYP. We are proud of the progress they have made and wish them every success as they prepare for the next stage of their education.
