Young Engineers in Action:
Science Camp Electric Car Project
During the February school holiday, our grade 4-6 students had an exciting opportunity to take part in a Science Camp focused on sustainable technology. Throughout the camp, students engaged in research, created presentations, and deepened their knowledge of electric cars. The highlight of the project was assembling an electric car, which was specially ordered from the UK-based company Greenpower.
This hands-on experience was made possible through the support of the Environmental Investment Centre (Keskkonnainvesteeringute Keskus – KIK), which funded the project. After completing the build, students eagerly took the car for test drives, enjoying both the thrill of driving and the pride of seeing their teamwork come to life.
The journey doesn’t end here! We will continue to use the car as a valuable learning tool for our students, inspiring future engineers and innovators.
