EdTech Hackathon Brings Creativity and Innovation to IST
On 14 and 15 November, our school was full of activity as students took part in the EdTech Hackathon ā a two-day event focused on generating ideas, creating prototypes, and solving real problems. With challenges provided by Ćlemiste City, students explored topics such as wellbeing, sustainability, community building, and social innovation. From the first session to the final presentations, the atmosphere was positive and full of teamwork and curiosity.

During the hackathon, students worked in groups to develop simple but effective solutions. They learned how to use design thinking to improve their ideas, received helpful feedback from mentors, and prepared short pitches that explained their problem, solution, and expected impact. Whether sketching prototypes or practising their presentations, all students stayed motivated and showed great creativity and resilience.

We are happy to congratulate this yearās winning team: Anastassia, Kristina, Clement, Ayan, and Kuzey. Their project stood out because it was clear, relevant, and offered a thoughtful approach to a real community challenge. We are very proud of their hard work and cooperation, and we are excited to see how their idea will develop in the future.

We would also like to thank all participants, mentors, and organisers for making this yearās hackathon such an inspiring and enjoyable learning experience. Events like this show how capable our students are when they work together to imagine and build something better.
