DP1 Film Students Shine at Hispafest 2026 in Tallinn

We are proud to celebrate an outstanding achievement by our DP1 Film class, who won Hispafest 2026 in Tallinn. This year marked a special milestone, as it was the very first Hispafest held in the city, organized by the Embassy of Spain in Estonia. Our students’ success made the event even more memorable for the IST community.

Exploring Meaningful Global Themes

As part of the festival, students from schools across Tallinn created short films focused on important and thought-provoking themes. These included equal opportunities, representation and leadership, shared responsibility, and respect for diversity. Our DP1 students approached these topics with creativity, insight, and a strong sense of purpose, producing a film that truly stood out.

A Well-Deserved Achievement

Winning Hispafest 2026 is a remarkable accomplishment and a testament to our students’ talent, teamwork, and dedication. Their ability to tell powerful stories through film is inspiring, and we are incredibly proud of their hard work and success.

Watch and Celebrate Their Work

We invite everyone in our community to support our talented filmmakers by watching their award-winning film on the IST YouTube channel. Congratulations once again to our DP1 Film class—this is an achievement to remember!
