Transport
The construction related to Rail Baltic has begun in the Ülemiste area, connecting us to Europe. However, due to the ongoing construction until March 2027, the tram connection to our campus will remain closed until December 2025. To find the most convenient way to reach Ülemiste City from the city center and Lasnamäe, we are working on alternative transportation solutions in cooperation with various stakeholders.
The most convenient way to get to Ülemiste City from the city centre and Lasnamäe
Bus line no. 15 Estonia – Sõjamäe. From September 1, there are additional buses and a busier autumn timetable: https://transport.tallinn.ee/#bus/15/a-b.
- Bus line no. 2 Balti Jaam – Mõigu. Added stop at the airport, from which Ülemiste City is only a short walk away: https://transport.tallinn.ee/#bus/2/a-b.
- Bus line no. 7 Seli – Sõjamäe: https://transport.tallinn.ee/#bus/7. Bus stops at Ülemiste City from the Majaka põik tram stop: Pae – Järvevana – Ülemiste jaam – Dvigatel – Lõõtsa – Valukoja – Kaubajaama. Interval in rush hour 3 – 4 buses per hour.
- Trams no. 2 Kopli – Suur-Paala and no. 4 Tondi – Suur Paala started on September 1. By taking the tram to the stop Majaka põik, you can change to bus no. 7 Seli – Sõjamäe, which will take you to Ülemiste.
The developers of Ülemiste City will continue to cooperate with the city of Tallinn to add a circular bus to the trajectory Majaka põik – Keevise st – Airport – Lõõtsa st – Majaka põik, so that passengers could smoothly get from buses and trams to Ülemiste City.
We also await suggestions on improving bus traffic from our community. Please share your experience with us and help make Ülemiste City more accessible. Answer the short questionnaire HERE.

Ülemiste City’s northern parking lot includes a bicycle shed, which allows all city-dwellers commuting to work by bicycle to keep their two-wheelers safely locked away.
The bicycle shed is located in the parking lot across from the Lõõtsa 4 building. Use of the facility is free of charge for the first year. Those interested in using the facility can forward their requests by writing to the following address: tallinn@technopolis.ee. The letter must contain contact details such as the phone number of the company and individual concerned. Upon approval, a personal key will be issued to the applicant.
Although the bicycle shed’s outer door is locked, it would be prudent to lock the bicycle with an additional lock once inside, since no dedicated monitoring is provided for the building.
Visitors to the building can use the bicycle shed by seeking assistance from reception secretaries of the Lõõtsa 2 building.
