ACTIVITIES
After School Activities
IST offers after school activities in a variety of categories: sports, music and arts, languages and technology. In these lessons, students can explore and discover new interests under the guidance of experienced instructors. All activities are allocated from Monday to Friday between 14:05 and 17:00. To register for any of the activities listed below, send an email to activities@ist.ee.

ROBOTICS
Robotics instructor, Anette Hendrikson, is a trained primary years professional who will teach pupils to build and program a range of different robots.
When: Wednesdays, 14:15 – 15:15

Group size: min 6 pupils

ARABIC LANGUAGE
Ms. Sarah Elsakka teaches Arabic to students of all grades. The lessons focus on essential vocabulary, pronunciation and Arabic writing through fun and engaging activities.
When?
Mondays and Thursdays 14:15 – 15:00

Age group: 3+ years old
Group size: min 8 students

CAPOEIRA CLUB
Capoeira is an Afro-Brazilian martial art that combines dance, acrobatic, musical and cultural elements.
In these trainings, the students will develop strength, endurance, flexibility and dexterity.
When: Tuesdays and Fridays
Price: €30/month (1 lesson per week) or €50/month (2 lessons per week)
Age group: Grades 1-9

CHINESE
Mr. Justin Cheng teaches Chinese to students from grades 6-10. The lessons focus on essential vocabulary, pronunciation and Chinese writing through fun and engaging activities.
When: Wednesdays

JAPANESE
Mr. Justin Cheng teaches Japanese to students from grades 6-10. The lessons focus on essential vocabulary, pronunciation and Japanese writing through fun and engaging activities.

DANCE RHYTHMICS
Dance rhythmics is an interesting and engaging activity that develops the physical and mental development of the child. The training develops a child’s posture, coordination, consideration of companionship, dexterity, endurance, sense of rhythm and audition courage. We learn to clap different rhythms using our body. We will clarify the basic steps in slow waltz, quickstep, samba and cha-cha. We practise maintaining posture, thereby strengthening various muscles and many other exciting things.
When? Mondays and Wednesdays
Who? Grades 1-8
Price: €30/month (1 lesson per week) or €40/month (2 lessons per week)

CERAMICS
Ceramics lesson is suitable for all age groups. The class is offered by teacher Kati, and it offers workshops on a wide range of traditional crafts. All materials that will be needed in the class are included in the price.
When: Thursdays

DRAMA CLUB
Our teacher, Ms. Iryna, leads the weekly drama club sessions. During the classes, the students will learn acting skills, develop communication and language skills.
When: Wednesdays

FILMMAKING
Led by experienced Estonian filmmaker Liina Sarkinen, students will learn to analyze films, write scripts, use their cellphone cameras to film and later edit their own movies.
When: Mondays 16h-17h

Age group: 12-18 years olds

SINGING
Ms. Sara offers one-to-one singing lessons to all pupils interested in singing. One lesson lasts 45 minutes.
When: Wednesdays

GUITAR
Mr. Oskar Lindwall offers classic guitar lessons for students of any age. All levels are welcome. Guitar is taught to groups of 3 to 4 students to ensure all pupils receive individual attention, and are grouped according to age and scheduled according to their availability.
When: Thursdays 14:10-14:55

PIANO
Mr. Nariman Amiraslanov and Mr. Alireza Farajianhamedani offer individual piano lessons for pupils aged 6+. From beginners to experienced students, our teachers are ready to teach any pupil. Time slots available from: Tue to Fri, between 14:10 – 17:00.
