Position: Substitute Teacher Paloma was born in Spain and got her University Degree of Teacher of Primary School at University of Alicante.
During this period, she also obtained the certificate of Training for Teaching in English and the Training for Teaching in Catalan, as well as the First Certificate in English from Cambridge University. She is also fluent in Italian.
Her native language is Spanish, and during her stay in Spain she has worked for 7 years in a private school as a home room teacher (tutor), teaching the areas of Spanish language and literature, mathematics, science, humanities, history, music, arts and crafts (in English) and religion for children aged 6-12.
She also has experience working with younger children, having worked several summer periods at a nursery school as an assistant for children aged 0-5, and also with teenagers in extracurricular activities.
Paloma loves the language, culture, gastronomy, art and history of Spain, and has studied all these concepts deeply throughout her education, both in high school and at university, so she is able to convey not only the language, but also the context in which it develops in a profound way.
She also firmly believes that each student needs specific attention, and tries to bring out the best in each one.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, taking walks in nature, playing guitar, singing and dancing, having good conversations and also having time for personal reflection and prayer.
